This is a personal hobby project, made for curiosity — it is not a professional news outlet and has no commercial purpose. The article production works like this: we choose a topic; the AI (Claude) researches journalistic sources; the AI produces the article.
Features
- City Guide: A directory of businesses, leisure and sports venues (parks, squares, courts) and public offices in Seabra and surrounding cities (Lençóis, Palmeiras/Vale do Capão, Iraquara). Each place shows address, neighborhood, opening hours, phone, WhatsApp, website or Instagram, and a Google Maps view.
- Classifieds: User-submitted classified ads for jobs, real estate, vehicles, services, and general sales. in development...
- Municipal Official Gazette: Daily publications from City Hall. Announcements, public bids, job openings, and administrative notices are simplified from bureaucratic language into clear journalism through AI, structured with practical questions ("What is it? Who can? When? How?"), and published on the site. Goal: make municipal public administration more transparent and accessible to everyday residents.
- Map of Seabra: The home page is Seabra drawn in pixel art, building by building. Each topic of the site lives in a building of the town: tap it to read that category's news.
- Constellation: An experiment: an interactive map connecting the site's categories and articles.
Map credits
The illustrated map was drawn by code (Claude, by Anthropic) from open data. No pixel of the satellite photo is copied: it is only used to identify roof colors and vegetation.
